Analysis of the essential oil composition of Sideritis albiflora using direct thermal desorption and headspace GC-MS techniques
The main constituents of Sideritis albiflora were found to be trans-caryophyllene, α-pinene, β-pinene, γ-cadinene, pulegone, and caryophyllene oxide by both thermal desorption GC/MS and headspace GC/MS techniques. -

Gören, Ahmet C.; Kılıç, Turgut; Dirmenci, Tuncay; Bilsel, Gökhan (Pergamon-Elsevier Science Ltd, 2006)Fatty acid composition of nine species of Salvia, naturally growing in Turkey was determined: Salvia syriaca, Salvia potentilli-folia, Salvia candidissima ssp. occidentalis, Salvia macrochlamys, Salvia poculata, Salvia ... -
Fatty acid composition of seeds of Satureja thymbra and S. cuneifolia
Gören, Ahmet C.; Bilsel, Gökhan; Altun, Mehmet; Satil, Fatih; Dirmenci, Tuncay (Verlag Z Naturforsch, 2003)The chemical composition of fatty acid methyl esters (FAMEs) from seeds of S. thymbra and S. cuneifolia were analyzed by GC/MS. 7 FAMEs were identified from the seeds of S thymbra mainly as 9-octadecenoic acid methyl ester ... -
Fatty acid compositions of seed oils of three Turkish salvia species and biological activities
Kılıç, Turgut; Dirmenci, Tuncay; Satil, Fatih; Bilsel, Gökhan; Kocagöz, Zühtü Tanıl; Altun, Mehmet; Gören, Ahmet Ceyhan (Kluwer Academic/Plenum Publishers, 2005)The fatty acid composition of seed extracts of Salvia bracteata, S. aethiopis, and S. candidissima ssp. candidissima were analyzed by GC/MS. The main compound of S. bracteata, S. aethiopis, and S. candidissima ssp. candissima. ...
