Beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin okul sporlarını değerlendirme düzeylerinin belirlenmesi

Abstract

Araştırmanın amacı, beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin okul sporlarını değerlendirme düzeylerini belirlemektir. Bu doğrultuda, öğretmenlerin değerlendirme süreçlerindeki güçlü ve zayıf yönlerinin belirlenmesi ve potansiyel iyileştirme alanlarının tanımlanması hedeflenmektedir. Bu çalışma, tarama modelinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2023 2024 eğitim döneminde Balıkesir ili devlet okullarında görev yapan 197 kadın 261 erkek olmak üzere toplam 458 beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak kişisel bilgi formu ile Gül, Soygüden, ve Karagöz, (2020) tarafından hazırlanan okul sporları değerlendirme ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada, veri ve bilgi toplamak için Google Forms ölçek yazılımı sistemi kullanılmıştır. Kişisel bilgi formu cinsiyet, meslek yılı, yaş, eğitim durumu ve okul türünü içeren sorulardan oluşmaktadır. Okul sporları değerlendirme ölçeği gelişim ve fayda boyutu olmak üzere iki alt boyut ve 18 maddeden oluşmaktadır. Sonuç olarak; beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin okul sporları değerlendirme düzeyleri yüksek bulunmuştur. Cinsiyet değişkeninde her iki alt boyutta da erkek öğretmenler lehine anlamlı farklılık elde edilmiştir. Meslek yılı değişkeninde farklılıkların 11-15 yıl meslek hayatı olan öğretmenlerden kaynaklandığı tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmenlerin yaş, eğitim durumu ve okul türü değişkenlerinin okul sporlarını değerlendirme puanları üzerinde anlamlı bir farklılık yaratmadığı bulunmuştur.

The aim of the study is to determine and analyze the evaluation levels of physical education and sports teachers in school sports. In this context, it is aimed to determine the strengths and weaknesses of teachers in the evaluation processes and to define potential improvement areas. The universe of this study consists of a total of 458 physical education and sports teachers, 197 female and 261 male, working in public schools in Balikesir city center and its districts in the 2023-2024 academic year. The personal information form prepared by the researcher was used as the data collection tool and the school sports evaluation scale prepared by Gül, Soygüden, and Karagöz, (2020) was used to examine the evaluation levels of the teachers participating in the study on school sports. The personal information form includes gender, years of service, age, educational status and school type. The “School sports evaluation scale” includes the “Development” sub-dimension and the “Benefit” sub-dimension. A significant difference was found in the gender and years of service variables in the research findings. This difference is in terms of the gender variable, in the development and benefits of school sports sub-dimensions, male individuals; In terms of the variable of years of service, the development and benefit sub-dimensions are from physical education and sports teachers who have worked for 11-15 years.
