Selecting an air carrier for the transport of hazardous goods: A type-2 neutroscopic copras approach

The increase in online purchasing has made logistics service provider companies increasingly popular. To be competitive, these companies consistently try to stay up to date. For this reason, logistics support companies must understand the most important things to their customers and how important they are. The expectations of the customers rise at this point, particularly as companies that deliver hazardous goods face more dangers. Because of this, the selection of companies that carry hazardous goods was the main emphasis of this study. To begin with, the selection criteria were established with the help of experts in this study. Next, the importance levels of these criteria were established with Type-2 neutroscopic numbers. Alternatives were then ranked using the neutroscopic Type-2 COPRAS method. Therefore, this study aims to help companies become more competitive by identifying the key criteria in the transportation of hazardous goods and by examining the Type-2 COPRAS method and neutroscopic numbers.
