Fluid accumulation in the endometrial cavity is an importantfinding because it may suggest endometrial pathology, includingendometrial cancer[1]. However, studies into the frequency andsignificance of accumulated endometrialfluid are conflicting[1–6].Although some reports have included women undergoing postmeno-pausal hormone replacement therapy, information is limited regard-ing associated clinical problems such as hypertension and diabetes[2].The aim of the present study was to provide additional information onthe frequency and importance of endometrialfluid found in asymp-tomatic postmenopausal women.en_US
