Turizm alan yazınında engelliler ile ilgili çalışmaların bibliyometrik profili (2000-2013)

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, 2000-2013 yılları arasında turizm alanyazınında engellilerle ilgili çalışmaların çeşitli parametreler çerçevesinde bibliyometrik özelliklerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla, Yükseköğretim Kurulu Başkanlığı’nın internet adresinde kayıtlı olan lisansüstü tezler ile yerli ve yabancı kaynaklı turizm dergileri bibliyometrik bazı özellikler açısından incelenmiştir. Adı geçen internet adresinde lisansüstü tezler, engelliler ve turizm dergileri ise “disable” ve “disability” anahtar kelimeleriyle taranmış, 515 yükseklisans ve 88 doktora olmak üzere toplam 603 tez ile 49 makale araştırma kapsamına dâhil edilmiştir. Kayıt altına alınan çalışmalar istatistiksel analize tabi tutulmuştur. Çalışmada tezler“tez türü”, “yayınlandığı yıl”, “yayınlandığı üniversite”, “yayınlandığı enstitü” ve “tezin çalışma konusu” gibi bibliyometrik özellikleri açısından, makaleler ise, yıllar bazında incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda 2000-2013 yılları arasında en fazla yükseklisans ve doktora tezinin Gazi üniversitesinde hazırlandığı saptanmıştır. Yıllar bazında en fazla sayıda tezin 2010-2013 yılları arasında, konu açısından ise en fazla eğitim ve öğretim, spor ve psikoloji alanları ilk sıralarda yer alırken turizm alanının ise 6. sırada olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

In this study, it has been aimed to determine the bibliometric characteristics of studies in tourism literature related with the disabled between the years of 2000 and 2013 in frames of various parameters. With that purpose, postgraduate theses registered in the website of Directorate of Council of Higher Education and national and international tourism magazines were reviewed in terms of some bibliometric characteristics. Postgraduate theses in the said website and magazines on the disabled and tourism were searched with “disable” and “disability” key words, and a total of 603 theses consisted of 515 postgraduate and 88 doctorate along with 49 articles were included in scope of the study. The recorded studies were subjected to statistical analysis. In the study, theses were reviewed in terms of their bibliometric characteristics such as "type of thesis", "release year", "university released" "institute released" and "study topic of thesis" while articles were reviewed on the basis of years. In result of the study, it was identified that the most postgraduate and doctorate thesis between the years of 2000 and 2013 were prepared in Gazi University. It was identified that the most theses were prepared between the years of 2000-2013, and that education and training, sport and psychology fields were the most referred topics while tourism field was ranked the 6th.
