dc.description.abstract | A sensitivity improvement for arsenic determination in the presence of copper by cathodic stripping voltammetry, using a high concentration of hydrochloric acid (3 mol/L) and high cell temperature (40 degrees C), is described. The optimum conditions were established, and LOD and LOQ for determination of As(III) were calculated from the calibration curve to be 7 ng/L and 22 ng/L, respectively. The accuracy of the method was checked by analyzing a certified reference material (LGC 6010-Hard Drinking Water). The method was applied to drinking water samples in Balikesir city of Turkey. | en_US |
